In ancient times yoga was often referred to as a tree, a living entity with roots, a trunk, branches, blossoms, and fruit. Hatha yoga is one of six branches; the others include raja, karma, bhakti, jnana, and tantra yoga. Each branch with its unique characteristics and function represents a particular approach to life. Some people may find one particular branch more inviting than another” (Carrico, 2017).

YOGA OF 12-STEP RECOVERY
Yoga of 12-Step Recovery (Y12SR) is a 12-step based discussion and yoga practice open to anyone and everyone dealing with their own addiction behavior or affected by those patterns in others. Combining the two creates a model that truly addresses to address the physical, mental and spiritual dis-ease of addiction. This is an open and inclusive group. All A's are welcome.
