In ancient times yoga was often referred to as a tree, a living entity with roots, a trunk, branches, blossoms, and fruit. Hatha yoga is one of six branches; the others include raja, karma, bhakti, jnana, and tantra yoga. Each branch with its unique characteristics and function represents a particular approach to life. Some people may find one particular branch more inviting than another” (Carrico, 2017).

Yoga for Addiction Recovery and Healing

Y12SR is a 12-step based discussion and yoga practice open to anyone and everyone dealing with their own addiction behavior or affected by those patterns in others. Combining the two creates a model that truly addresses addiction as the physical, mental and spiritual disease that it is.
This is an open and inclusive group. All A's are welcome. This class is offered in-studio and virtually. Led by Colleen Cobb (space holder) - RYT-200 / Certified Y12SR
