In ancient times yoga was often referred to as a tree, a living entity with roots, a trunk, branches, blossoms, and fruit. Hatha yoga is one of six branches; the others include raja, karma, bhakti, jnana, and tantra yoga. Each branch with its unique characteristics and function represents a particular approach to life. Some people may find one particular branch more inviting than another” (Carrico, 2017).

Letting Go in YIN

Explore the practice of letting go through the mind, body, and heart.  With a combination of meditation, journaling, and Yin yoga the tension will gently melt away. I invite you to bring your journal, your cozy plush items, and meet me on the mat.

Prenatal Yoga Series

Saturday, October 17 - November 7

1:00 pm - 2:15 pm

From your physical body to your emotional state, prenatal yoga is a key ingredient to a healthy, happy pregnancy. Prenatal yoga supports your changing body and is also designed to help prepare for labor, childbirth and postpartum experience. Join our prenatal yoga community with other expectant mamas and birth workers where we create a safe place to share your excitement, worries, and other emotions surrounding your pregnancy and receive a special journal to record your yoga journey!

Led by Tamisha and Kela, classes are held on the following Saturdays from 1:00 pm - 2:15 pm EST: 10/17, 10/24, 10/31 and 11/7 and with the options to take it in-person or virtually!

Yoga for Addiction Recovery and Healing

Y12SR is a 12-step based discussion and yoga practice open to anyone and everyone dealing with their own addiction behavior or affected by those patterns in others.

Combining the two creates a model that truly addresses addiction as the physical, mental and spiritual disease that it is.

This is an open and inclusive group. All A's are welcome. This class is offered in-studio and virtually.
