Sankofa Insight Space is your virtual home for stillness, presence, and meaningful inner connection. Whether you're new to meditation or have practiced for decades, this is a space to slow down, listen inward, and return to yourself. Our online meditation community offers daily guided meditations, trauma-informed mindfulness, and soulful reflection—all from wherever you are. Come home to yourself, in community.

Sankofa Insight Space is where our contemplative practices live—meditation, dharma talks, reflective writing, breathwork, prayer, and more. This sacred container is designed to nurture presence, deepen self-awareness, and support your journey of becoming. It’s also a space for remembering our shared humanity.

We​ offer online meditation 7 days a week, rooted in mindfulness, breath awareness, and contemplative wisdom. Whether you’re new to stillness or a seasoned practitioner seeking a grounded, inclusive space—you’re welcome here.

This is more than a class—it’s a practice. A pause. A place to remember. A space to be consistent, curious, and mindful.

Each day offers a different focus—drawing from insight traditions, mindful living, somatic healing, and breath-centered practices.

Meditation Guides

Our meditation sessions are guided by a diverse team of educators, therapists, and trained mindfulness practitioners who bring lived wisdom, cultural care, and depth to their offerings. Each facilitator holds space in the Sankofa Insight Space container with intention, compassion, and a deep commitment to personal and collective healing.

Practicing Together: Guidelines for Our Shared Space

We offer these policies in the spirit of clarity, care, and mutual respect. They help us hold this container with integrity—for your practice, our facilitators, and the energy we cultivate together.

Registration & Arrival

We kindly ask that you register in advance for all offerings through our website or the MINDBODY app. Please log on about 5 minutes early to settle in and prepare for practice. When joining a virtual session, we invite you to enter the Zoom room quietly and, if you feel comfortable, keep your screen on—we’d love to see your face and share in the connection together.

Joining Our Virtual Classes

We’re honored to be in practice with you—wherever you are. Here’s how to join with ease:

  • Register early. Choose a class labeled “VIRTUAL” and sign up at least 20 minutes before it begins.

  • Check your email. A Zoom link will be sent via FitGrid about 10 minutes before class.

 

Payment & Class Packages

Our pricing supports the sustainability of this space and the presence of our teachers. We aim to make our offerings accessible while honoring the value of the work.

  • All introductory, class packages and memberships are final sale—non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-extendable.

  • We are a cashless studio. Please create a free online account to register with ease.

  • Each practitioner must register with their own individual account—passes are not shareable.

  • Unused classes and expired specials cannot be refunded, extended, or credited.​

 

Class Cancellations

If your plans shift, we understand. Please cancel your reservation at least 30 minutes before class begins via your online account. This will return the class to your account for future use. Classes canceled late or missed without notice will be deducted from your pass. We appreciate your understanding.

Prefer to stay with meditation? Enjoy our Insight Membership—just $39/month—for daily virtual meditation and contemplative practice.

Memberships

Membership is an invitation to deepen your rhythm of practice.

  • Our memberships renew automatically every 30 days from your enrollment date and include a 3-month minimum commitment.

  • To cancel or freeze your membership, email info@sankofayogacenter.com at least 30 days before your next billing date. Cancellations within this window will process one final payment.

  • Active military members may request a 90-day freeze with documentation and advance notice.​​​​​​​​​​
