Welcome to the Sankofa Outdoor Club! From April through September, we gather to move, breathe, and reconnect—with the land, with each other, and with ourselves. Through forest bathing, mindful hikes, seasonal planting, and justice-centered conversations, we honor the earth as both teacher and healer. Whether you’re here to slow down, learn something new, or simply enjoy fresh air in good company—you belong.

We're excited to bring back our Sankofa Outdoor Club—a seasonal offering for those who want to move, breathe, hike, explore, and reflect in nature together.
We'll gather for curated outdoor experiences rooted in mindfulness, restoration, and collective growth: forest bathing, slow walks, nature hikes, and embodied movement on the land.
We’ll take time to breathe in fresh air, learn from the land, and reflect near water—deepening our awareness of the ecosystems we’re part of. Along the way, we’ll explore what it means to tend the earth through planting, gardening, and becoming thoughtful plant parents, while opening space for conversations around land stewardship, water preservation, and sustainable futures.
We’re also excited to offer optional educational experiences around sustainable farming, ecological awareness, and environmental justice—because protecting the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the soil we stand on is essential to both personal and collective healing.
