Sankofa Yoga and Wellness Center and Sankofa Health Center are teaming up to expand our support services for women, birthing persons, babies & families in the DMV, Baltimore and Washington Metropolitan Area.

​

Located in Laurel, Maryland (Prince George's County), Sankofa Moon Doula Services is supported with professionals who have a passion for improving birth and postpartum for all families.

 

Staffed with midwives, doulas, prenatal and postnatal yoga teachers, bodyworkers and perinatal mental health practitioners, Sankofa Moon is looking for motivated and kind doulas who can empower, nurture and support pregnant people to have a safe, healthy and positive birth experience.

IDEAL APPLICANTS TO JOIN THE SANKOFA MOON DOULA TEAM:

​

• Skilled in educating and supporting pregnant people.

• Are professional, compassionate, responsive and self-motivated.

• Have a goal of making doula work a significant source of income while supporting families 

• Are trained and/or certified or willing to obtain a certification through a reputable doula certifying body.

• Have a desire to work in a team model. 

• Are in alignment with Sankofa Yoga and Wellness Center and Sankofa Health Center's values

 

OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION INCLUDE:

• Reliable Transportation

 

This is a paid independent contractor position.
